104: Dan Brown adventures

Just prior to our first visit in Firenze we both had red Dan Browns Inferno (well, to be precise I was still working on it) and off course had to find the places mentioned in the book. The first stop was Giardino di Boboli, just next to Palazzo Pitti, and the pictures above show the “Grotta del Buontalenti” where Robert and Sienna were hiding. Very beautiful!

It would have been cool to walk through the “Corridoio Vasarino” connecting Palazzo Pitti to Palazzo Vecchio, however most of it was unfortunately closed to visitors. In the future perhaps 🙂
